Cognia is a nonprofit accreditation agency that independently reviews school systems around the world against research-based standards of quality. Oglethorpe County School System holds system-wide accreditation, which means every school in our district is covered by this ongoing process of external review, evidence, and continuous improvement. Accreditation is not a one-time stamp of approval — our system participates in regular reviews and progress reporting to maintain it.
