Welcome to the Teaching and Learning website of Oglethorpe County Schools. Teaching and Learning is the "heartbeat" of our school system! In addition to all local and state assessments and all instructional software, the department also facilitates a number of student support areas: English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Gifted Education, Migrant Education, Multi-Tiered System of Supports, and Section 504. Additionally, the Department of Teaching and Learning oversees Kindergarten through 12th grade core program delivery, including reading, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Oversight also includes the areas of art, music, physical education, counseling, and school media services.
