Elizabeth Cook is a member of the Class of 2026.
Elizabeth has been a Varsity Volleyball player for the past three years. As a junior, she was named Area 8-A Player of the Year and selected to play in the sophomore/junior All-Star Volleyball game. During the summer of her junior year, Elizabeth was selected as an All-American at the AAU Girls National Volleyball Championships in Orlando, Florida.
As a senior, her accolades continued. She was selected as a Area 8-A 1st Team All-Region Player, Class-A State Championship Tournament MVP, and helped bring home the very first State Championship title for the OCHS volleyball team. In November of 2025, Between the Lines of Atlanta named her #11 in the top 25 High School Volleyball Players in the state. She made the GACA All-State Volleyball Class-A first team in January and most recently was nominated by Piedmont Orthopedic & Sports Medicine for Volleyball Player of the Year. The winner will be selected in a ceremony in mid-May.
Elizabeth has been dual-enrolled with Truett McConnell University and been a member of the Work-Based Learning Program this school year. She's an intern at Oglethorpe County Elementary School and has loved every moment of working with the students.
Elizabeth received both an athletic and academic scholarship to Truett McConnell University. There she will play volleyball for the Bears and major in Early Childhood Education this fall.
Congratulations Elizabeth - Class of 2026!
